took a trip to japan with my mom!
going on a daughter-mother trip with my mom is something that i’ve always wanted to do - this year, out of the blue, we decided to go on a trip to japan & korea together

the sweetest man
it was a very hot, humid day in kyoto and while we were waiting to catch the bus back to kyoto station, this sweet man waited out in the sun waiting for the bus to come while he told us to wait in the shade <3

as we were moving, we did a deep clean of all our stuff & we dug up this old camera so i brought it along with me on this trip!

last but not least - kōenji
on our last day, my mom and i went to kōenji (a reco we received from a local for good vintage shopping)
easily one of my favorite days + places that we went to - still in tokyo but very quiet + peaceful and you can tell it’s a spot loved by the locals :-)
stores don’t open until 12p-1pm which is a bummer but it’s a great place to aimlessly wander and eye shop (or actually shop)
mom had a great time and shopped till she dropped (literally)
